Formed in 2019 in Victoria B.C., Dark Island offers a dynamic repertoire of Irish, Scottish, English, and traditional song. Featuring Wolf Edwards (Knacker's Yard) vocals and 5-String banjo, Brad Marchant (Sets In The West) vocals and Guitar, Craig Frew (Doreen) Accordion, and Richard Burn on Irish Tenor banjo, this ensemble draws on the lasting legacy of Celtic and Folk performance in Victoria and abroad. Their performances have been enthusiastically received by music lovers all over the Island. Following up on their recent debut recording, Dark Island are currently working on their first first full-length album which will be released in the Spring of 2020.
